We all travel a long and winding road
Never knowing what lies around the next bend
We can go pell-mell, throw caution away
Or be concerned with how our life transcends
No one will ever say this road is easy
There will be many obstacles along the way
Temptations will be there to slow you down
Give in and your travel may be delayed
We are on this road whether we like it or not
How we navigate it is entirely up to us
This road only goes in two directions
Each direction we must stop and discuss
One destination is reached by division from God
Where we have been misled along the way
That road leads to eternity with Satan in Hell
Using deception, He smirks at our dismay
The other direction will take you to Heaven
Where Christ awaits you with open arms
You go there because you rightly divided His Word
After ignoring all of Satan’s ruses and charms
In truth, Life’s road is all about our choices
Choose Jesus and have him enter our hearts
Or we can follow that lonely road of division
And rue our choice as our eternity starts
