I was standing in the face of darkness,
Blending in in cadence and grace.
Baseless, dark and void
In one accord
Yielded in unison to my Maestro’s ensemble.
First, my Master named me, Earth.
Good Heavens, I began in rhythmic orbit!
In staccato, lilting blend;
My mouth ascended,
Brought forth minuet of rivers’ girth.
Light waltzed in the sweep of green,
Refining tunes as wind chimed in.
Day and Night
Symphonize.
Free-flowing rhapsody I scaled glorious Eden.
Heaven on earth quavered at The Maestro’s voice.
I felt the trill at His gentle words.
I saw thunder
and lightning roar
As I sang in harmonious praise of His essence.
A blade of grass its roots meshed on my ground
sways in gentle breath, jibe in whistling sound
Sync its timing
Of joy blending
Deck the terrain yield to freeing wind.
When heavens declare His glory
I hear every word and delight to do His will.
Kindness,
Goodness,
Heaven and Earth assent to abide and heed.
The Words of God have not hidden
From ears who hear and consent.
He’s shown
All creation
Perform in unity in awe and obedience.
What is it with humans that God finds like a lyric in a song?
To think of mankind with patient interest for a symphony?
Before the beginning
He saw it coming.
His kindness and truth are Who He is.
He forgives and fine-tunes every soul
for His purpose in heavenly music.
All creation
That Earth may hear,
Let everything that has breath sing the chorus of His praise!
"The vine will give its fruit, the earth will yield its produce, and the heavens will give their dew". (Zechariah. 8:12)
