In the plenty
In the long days
In the clear night
Summer slice of heaven
New life bursting
In the fruiting
In the fielding
In the young eyes
Summer dancing out of Spring
Her birth pangs
Her long wait
Her cracking
Her heart ache
Autumn moon rising
Gathering inward
Wispy breathing
Storing wisely
Smoke in your eyes
Autumn leaves falling
Layering smother
Small seeds flying
Death is calling
Morning frost heaves
Autumn’s bounty emerged in Spring
Her birth pangs
Her long wait
Her cracking
Her heart ache
Winter stretches onward
Greedy fingers
Clutch at white throats
Squeezing breathless
Refuse to let go
Winter softy weeping
Death and silence
Pressure rising
Buried promise
Forgotten warming
Winter’s reign drawn from Spring

Spring erupts volcanic
Suddenly there
Raining freedom
Hope from despair
Willingly giving
Spring births Summer
