From raising kids, to chores, to work, and how I read and play,
"You're so amazing, just incredible," so many say,
Since they cannot imagine how they'd live their lives this way.
It's really not surprising, though, that I get out of bed,
And shower, then get dressed, and cook, am reasonably well-read,
That I don't view my circumstance through lens of doom and dread,
Though I'd be lying if I claimed a tear to never shed.
But all of us have challenges, some easier to spot,
And often those less visible will struggle quite a lot
To triumph o'er each battle with which every day is fraught.
I may be blessed with courage, but amazing I am not!
The Lord of all creation, who has set the stars in space,
Who hung each moon to shine, and put each planet in its place,
Who formed from dust and breathed His life in to the human race,
'Tis He who is incomparable, and His amazing grace.
