I said I could.
I didn’t say I wouldn’t,
I said I would.
I didn’t say it's maybe,
I said I will,
I didn’t say it's empty,
I said let's fill.
The message isn’t negative,
It's positive to you.
It contains no lies or deceit,
It's everything that's true.
It isn’t full of crippling hate,
It's all powerful love.
I am no longer underground,
I’m risen, I'm above.
You no longer travel alone,
In the tunnel of life.
And I can heal all of the words,
That have cut like a knife.
And all the darkness that surrounds,
I have something in lieu,
Light at the end of the tunnel,
Is what I am to you.
Your pain can no longer be yours,
It now belongs to me,
You are no longer a captive,
I came to set you free.
Slow down your wildly beating heart,
Your fears may now be still,
For not only am I able,
But what I say, I will.
I said I could and I can,
Do it for you.
I said I would and I will,
Make it come true.
I said it was possible,
To set you free.
I've now fulfilled that promise,
Believe in Me.
