because we know what we're created for.
Whether we're God's children or not,
we need to be content with what we've got.
God created us solely for His glory,
but showing that is unique in our stories.
Bringing honor to God, our Creator,
requires many different kinds of labor.
This world has rejected God for many years,
creating their ways and others to tears.
The tears of many innocent people have been shed,
but Satan, in all his ways, has caused deaths.
Deaths of those who have chosen to reject Him,
causing their corrupt spirits to drown in sin.
The sins that Jesus sacrificed His life for,
arising three days later victorious evermore!
All across the world, God is being ignored,
in the schools, our jobs, and so much more!
Yes, we have a choice in honoring Him,
but He doesn’t want anyone to perish in sin.
You would think that something so simple
would be easy to see in our own “Temples.”
Our spiritual temple that God declares as His,
when we’ve decided to follow, being born again.
Giving The Lord honor is a day-by-day choice,
being thankful for each breath, that we voice.
Just as we show respect to our earthly parents,
we need to honor God to whom we’re inherent.
God says to honor the parents who gave us birth,
yet the world rejects The One declaring our worth!
What a privilege we have to be loved by such a One,
who knew we were worthy before the death of His Son.
As a believer in Christ, I want to leave this with you,
until we meet again in Heaven, bidding you adieu.
Do not let your heart be clouded by sin,
for your lips will speak first, from within.
‘These people draw near to Me with
their mouth,
And honor Me with their lips,
But their heart is far from Me.’
Matthew 15:8 (NKJV)
