why does it trend toward war?
Cries in the streets, desperate debates,
heading toward hell,
like never before.
Because clearly, this is the time,
void of God, anger steams about to burst,
the good times, a thing of the past;
barreling down the gun of the worst.
But, God foretold this time,
when common sense and human love
reflect only His strong,
who abide under His Wing,
in the midst of dark days
and nights too cold to belong.
Given His Wisdom,
they know of the time;
the Savior’s Rescue draws near!
War and oppression
crest the horizon,
still the strong look to Heaven
without fear!
Looming wars, cut off from freedom;
so few worthy men;
they’ll devour the godless and weak,
still God’s people are safe
without question;
steadfast in the haven they seek.
So this is the end of time as we know it,
So bad for the weak and their trend,
but the strong have no need for fear,
only the promise of peaceful rescue,
while enemies descend.
“A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.
Because you have made the LORD,
Who is my refuge,
Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.” (Psalm 91:7-11)
“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.” (1Thessalonians 4:16-18)
