no matter what the time or place.
Although the world continues its deception,
you can hear it in each of their perceptions.
As believer’s we can also hear,
the very time our Savior is near!
The signs around us are easy to see,
as God’s Words ring true in each prophecy.
Keep us strong, oh Lord, I pray,
while renewing our minds every day.
Help us to learn when to capture our words,
before they slip out, causing others more hurt.
So many times, we’ve stopped listening,
to the very One who desires to be glistening.
Glistening from the inside out,
eliminating all our doubts.
Once the fears are all gone,
we will declare to whom we belong.
“We are children of the King of Kings,
who longs to hear us worship and sing!”
Knowing that we can boldly proclaim,
as we dance and shout, “He’s here to reign!”
So then, my beloved brethren,
let every man be swift to hear,
slow to speak, slow to wrath;
James 1:19 NKJV

"Keep us strong, oh Lord, I pray," has 3 commas in it where most of the lines only have one. I like "Lord, keep us strong I pray." Judge for yourself which you like better.
"to the very One who desires to be glistening." "Very" is an overworked word. How about dropping it and going to this: "To the One who desires our light to be glistening." "Very has two syllables, so I just substituted "our light" for those two syllables. Judge for yourself which you like better.
Overall very good. Keep writing.
