we don’t give up but continue to fight!
For, you see, there’s a battle going on,
placed in our paths to make us strong.
Sometimes we tend to forget its purpose,
yielding more towards frustrations that hurt us.
God has prepared us for each spiritual war,
knowing full well there will be more.
The “accuser of the brethren”, the “father of lies,”
the devil is known as a master of disguise.
No matter how many times he wails,
God, our Father, will always prevail!
When Jesus had died, years ago,
at that time, they didn’t know.
They were told of His mercy and grace,
not realizing they had been in a daze.
Every charge that was brought against us,
was paid for by God’s Son, Jesus.
Yes, Jesus Christ is alive today,
for He arose in just three days!
Only one thing the Father would ask,
is actually a fairly simple task.
Come follow Jesus believing in Him,
turning away from the deception you’re in.
You will find that He’s like no other,
for He’s known to be closer than your brother.
So, what will you decide today?
Will you repent or turn away?
The man of too many friends [chosen indis-
criminately] will be broken in pieces and
come to ruin, but there is a [true, loving]
friend who [is reliable and] sticks closer
than a brother.
