Avoiding the world’s problems is a common way of coping when things appear hopeless and no one seems to have a satisfactory solution, but that is denial, not the healthy coping mechanism known as positive thinking.
God never promised us a rose garden; Jesus didn’t either, in fact, didn’t He promise the exact opposite in John 16:33? (Also see: Deuteronomy 31:6, Joshua 1:9, 1Chronicles 28:20 & 1Corinthians 16:13)
Believers would be wise to make themselves aware of what is going on in the world and that doesn’t have to result in ominous, horrifying feelings of panic, but the peace of knowing God is there through all the hard times. Going through trials and tribulation is just a part of life and should be expected and we should be talking about how to prepare in these Last Days and teaching those lessons to our kids.
Knowing the dangers out in the world is empowering, just as knowing the TRUTH is empowering and the Truth is staring us right in the face: we are in the End Days.
The Bible talks expresses the sentiment through stories and commands that we ought to see ourselves as Christian soldiers, in part as preparation for this time. God’s Word calls believers ‘the army of God,’ therefore, it is clear that God wants us to be brave, strong and courageous and that He helps us develop those qualities. Being soft and expecting only smooth sailing in this fallen world is senseless and leaves us vulnerable to emotional breakdowns which can only catapult the inevitable breakdown of body, soul and spirit.

Furthermore, the Bible also emphasizes the importance of knowing and abiding in Truth and the truth is that globally speaking, things are spiraling out of control. Even avoiding the news completely, the signs of this downward spiral are everywhere, at the movies, if you can afford to go, at to the store and at the pump. It’s evident in the media; the blatant lies coming from the White House, disgusting reality shows of nothing but greed and lust and the abominable advertisements pushing the gay agenda. And brace yourself before checking your kids' homework and see what they’re teaching in public schools: math, science, history and English, only providing those classes don’t interfere with the school board’s agenda to cause every last student to question whether they identify with their assigned gender or not!
The tremendous explosion of wickedness in our streets and all over the world, especially the mass shootings right here at home, the climate change lie, the planned pandemic, the impending and planned global famine, the border crisis that was done on purpose to help usher in the New World Order, the U.N. and W.H.O along with the C.D.C, planning this takeover (and Biden’s recent announcement that 2024 will be the year that the U.S.A. will forfeit sovereignty); all of these things and more are converging and increasing in intensity and will climax with the Appearance of JESUS in our atmosphere!
And while we eagerly anticipate His Glorious Arrival, we should be aware of the lateness of the hour, we ought to pray for strength and endurance and stay busy doing God’s Work in helping the lost to be found and in preparing ourselves to stand before Him because we are about to meet Him face to face!
“Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.” (Luke 21:36)
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing. (2Timothy 4:7-8)

As Christians in these last days, we need to be aware of what's going on, what the Scripture says, and then live godly before others. We need to take care of our personal spiritual lives, endeavor to help others, and as a Christian patriot, do everything we can to help turn things around. But even if they don't turn around, we have the promise of the Lord's coming soon.
