Dirk Wallace, better known as Megawatt, led the group into the conference room. After the heroes were seated, the aide moved to a podium and activated a screen. The first thing the Light Force saw was a person in a blue and white armored suit with a Star of David on the chest. The aide said, “This is Steel Patriot, an Israeli hero who has appeared in the last few weeks.”
Rex, known as Diamond, asked, “So is this Steel Patriot strong enough to defeat Allah’s Fist?”
The aide frowned and shook his head. “Apparently not. That’s why the Israeli government asked for your help.”
Gravitron interjected, “What are we waiting for? Let’s go and offer some super foreign aid!”
“We will, but to get you there quickly we’ve enlisted the assistance of a new German superheroine. Her powers will get you there instantly. Meet Berlin Wall.”
A woman in a yellow costume stepped right out of the wall. She nodded to the group and said, “I will get you there. It will be interesting to use my powers on the most famous wall in the Middle East, the Wailing Wall. That’s where your "playmates" are gathered.”
Mariness spoke up. “Not sure what good my powers will be in a desert environment, but we will stop our enemies.”
Berlin Wall looked in her direction. “I hope so. You are American heroes, known for opposing evil, and these terrorists are attacking my fellow Jew, Steel Patriot. I volunteered to try to stop them, but I am not strong enough alone.”
Megawatt tried to steer the conversation back towards a plan to stop Allah’s Fist. “Ms. Wall, other than getting us there quickly, I don’t know how, but what can you do to help out?"
Her response was sharp. “I touch them and wallport them to whatever prison you keep them in.”
Coldfire asked, “Wallport?”
“Yes, that is my power. By touching a wall, I can connect to any other wall in the world. I will take you two at a time.”
Amazing Girl responded, “With my size and weight control powers, three of us can make the first trip.”
Berlin Wall thought about it. “Yes, I can have one ride on my back, take another’s hand, and you could travel in small size on my shoulder.”
Megawatt got to his feet. “Let’s go and save Israel from Allah’s Fist!”
Megawatt, Coldfire and Amazing Girl made the first trip. The others arrived moments later. They found themselves atop the Wailing Wall. Looking down, they saw Steel Patriot hanging by wrists and feet from cracks in the Wall. Berlin Wall explained in response to their shocked expressions, “They didn’t tell you that Allah’s Fist had brought back crucifixion? The Lion one declared, “It’s time to crucify another Jew in Palestine.” "
Blue Flame interrupted. “Unimportant! They are killing Patriot.”
She punctuated her words with some precision laser blasts to cut the stakes holding Steel Patriot to the Wall.
Lion Lord and his group looked up to see the Light Force flanking Berlin Wall. “Get them down and kill them with the infidel Jew!”
The first part of his command was unnecessary, since the Light Force descended in full attack. Diamond, as usual, faced off against Lion Lord saying, “How many times are we going to do this dance? You’d all do better to simply put your hands up against the wall and surrender.”
The Wolf, fending off Megawatt and Coldfire, responded for his leader, “Never! We will be martyred for Allah, trying to free his land from the heathen Jews!”
Gravitron kept the battle banter going. “The Jewish people have a greater claim to this land than the Philistines do.”
His opponent, Moonhunter shot back, “You mean the Palestinians?”
Amazing Girl and Mariness didn’t join in the banter as they were defeating She-Snake and Ali-gator.
When each member of Allah’s Fist fell, Berlin Wall took them back to America. When the five terrorists were safely incarcerated, Megawatt looked at the other eight heroes and proclaimed, “This is a great day for international cooperation. We should do this again when our backs aren’t up against the wall.”
