1). the way things were made
2). censoring on prime time television and television anytime
3). societial values/feminine modesty
4). honesty and integrity of major companies
5). patriotism
6). the willingness of lost souls to come to God's Throne.
Subsequently, through the review of this list, ONE stand-out thing comes to mind when considering the days of old, something SO special, valuable and precious, that most believers would atest: THE BIBLE of course; the greatest book ever written.
BUT WAIT, when it was written obviously doesn't affect how GREAT it was and STILL is. SO that means that not only does the category of books stand out among the rest because of the Bible, but this list, that was intially thought to have the potential to come out on the comedic side, has highlighted the Bible instead as the most precious and timely, and by far the most ancient gift God has ever bestowed on His children. When it comes to things that were better in the days of old, not only was the Bible written thousands of years ago, it also stands out as the only thing in my aforementioned list that meets both the things that are "better," as well as the "more plentiful" criteria and that's because the Bible is the most read; the best selling book of ALL time.
Conclusion:
God's Word is in a category by itself and is the greatest thing, of all things old and even NEW and ironically, the most ancient of all great things never REALLY gets old.
