Wind blowing. Rain falling.
Nursing a cold.
Sink full of dishes.
Bills to be paid.
So many distractions.
But you press on.
No one writes a perfect story the first time.
Or the first 100 times.
Keep writing.
No one has sunshine every day.
Rain happens, but it makes things green.
Accept it.
No one dances every day.
Some days you sneeze and cough.
Know that it will pass
Dirty dishes mean you have food.
Food means you can live.
Be thankful.
Bills mean you are not homeless.
And you have needs that have been met.
Work through them.
If you want to reach your dream,
And be a good writer,
Just press on.
