My life was full of sin,
I was not very cool.
Didn't know where to go,
not knowing what to do.

Wandering through the world,
my sins would get me down.
I had lost all my friends,
and no one came around.

I cried out to my God,
"Please show me the way.
Help me find your favor,
and teach me what to pray."

"I can't do that for you,
it must come from your heart.
And all you need is faith,
then I can be a part."

"How can I do that Lord,
my sins they are so great.
I have fallen so down,
I fear you will not wait."

"I have always been here,
I'll always be around.
I have a plan for you,
I will not let you down."

He wiped my tears away,
He has forgiven me.
He's teaching me His plan,
now He has set me free.

Now my life has changed,
a peace is in my soul.
Where I once was half,
He has made me whole.

Our entire Christian journey is about being taught by Him and learning how to live closer with

I so love the transparency and humility expressed in this lovely poem. God's grace is amazing! This whole poem reminds me so much of James 4:8-10. Thank you!
