I wonder ‘round the world
I’m deep in mortal sin.
I didn’t know this God
nor the Heaven He’s in.

I gamble with my life
I lose at every turn.
I sin most every day
in Hell I’m going to burn.

I do not have a clue
on how to find this God.
I didn’t know how to pray
It seen so very odd.

One day I saw this church
Decided to go in.
They said just pray to God
And He will take your sin.

After it was over
I talked to the main man.
He said he’s a pastor
And he could lend a hand.

I ask who this God is
He said, “He is the King.
He made the universe
And all it has to bring.”

I said I’m full of sin
And don’t know what to do.
He said ”He’d hear my sins
And He will take them too.

I asked him how to pray
He said “Just bow your head.
And ask Him to forgive
All the sins you have said.”

I did just what he said
A weight did lift from me.
I found that this Holy One
was here to set me free.

Now I do not wonder
Who has a special plan.
He guides and protects me
my name is etched in His hand.

He is the transformer
He takes your sins away.
He's always there for you
no matter, night or day.

I absolutely love the rhythm of your poem. It has the nicest beat to it. The message is also clear and encouraging...pure gospel! There are a couple of areas I thought needed correction, and even though I am going to lovingly correct what I see that might need correction, it in NO WAY takes away from the blessing conveyed by this beautiful poem.

It SEEN so very odd.

I believe that the word "wondered" or "wandered" would be a better word choice because you used past tense in the word "didn't". They should match. Also the word "seen" should perhaps be replaced with "seemed." (Agree?)

A couple of little issues, but otherwise such a very pure message. Thank you!
