Just God.
Isn’t creating the heavens and the earth a major project; didn’t He need a blueprint? Why did He speak the earth round and spinning and not square and stationary? In the far-flung heavens how did He know where to place the earth, sun, moon, stars, planets, and other and-it- was-so? After all, they’re in precise proximity to each other; at particular predetermined angles so they reflect light from other let-its.
“Then God said ‘let there be light,’ and there was light.” (Gen 1:3) Were there patterns of light to choose from? Maybe He thought eeny, meeny, miny, moe, or maybe He wanted a universal blend of light?
What about the intense heat from the sun? He had to correctly speak the let-it-be planets, so, as other celestial bodies like earth, they are precisely the correct distance from the sun.
Not too close or they’d burn; not too far away or they’d freeze.
In addition, God’s creation of love included the Garden of Eden.
When God created Adam and Eve and put them in the Garden of Eden they personified purity; a purity that included their nakedness that didn’t shame. In their humanity they were helpmates, made for each other; a Godly union.
In the Garden of Eden, with His holy rendition of “let it be,” God had spoken vegetation, animals, and livestock into existence, with age. Edible plants and fruit trees ready to harvest and eat.
Don’t think Adam and Eve knew why sheep went ‘baa’ and cows ‘lowed,’ but am sure they thought they were edible.
As long as they transported necessities, I surmise the "from dust and a rib creations" didn’t care about camels humps and horses swaybacks.
(Ever wonder how they discovered horses and camels were beasts-of-burden?)
What about the birds, animals, other livestock, and creepy-crawlers? (Hope
God’s okay with the term creepy-crawler.)
Think perhaps, hand-in-hand, Adam and Eve explored perfection?
The Garden of Eden met Adam and Eves every need. Tending it kept them busy, and they fellowshipped together, one with God.
However, one day the visual invitation from the tree in the middle of the garden to eat its forbidden fruit, and the words of the serpent of treachery confronted them. Adam and Eve succumbed and imperfect sin entered their perfect lives and changed God’s sacred creation from heaven to hardship.
Because they sinned God expelled Adam and Eve from a paradise that supplied, into a world of servitude.
Nevertheless, by demonstrating their individual need for a creator, from banishment to the crucifixion, God offered to allow mankind back into His splendor. As other nations watched, from a brutal Egyptian captivity, God led Israel through the wilderness into a land of milk and honey.
Throughout the forty years of wandering He provided for them. Things like food and water, and clothes and shoes that never wore out; not to mention shelter.
Furthermore, in order to enjoy fellowship with Him, on a stone tablet the hand of God wrote the Ten Commandments, which would lead Israel into a relationship of obedience. Instead they chose golden calves and pagan rituals.
Later, through a prophet, Israel asked God for a king to rule over them, like their neighboring nations. God answered that they didn’t need a king because they were His nation. Against His advice they chose to have kings rule over them. This eventually led to the twelve tribes of Israel being forcefully separated and led into captivity.
But in the fullness of times, the birth of Jesus Christ began the final stage of the Father’s plan of salvation. At Jesus’ ordination, nailed to a cross, He said “‘it is finished.’”( Jn. 19:30)
What’s finished?
“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions, if it were not so I would have told you. And I go to prepare a place for you.” (Jn. 14: 1,2)
You can trust Him.
“The Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.” (Rev. 22: 21)
