my sin they follow me.
When I think I’m forgiven
I find I’m never free.
They are in my nightmares
curse me all day long.
When I think I’ll turn out right
I find I am all wrong.
Inside my head I’m fighting
am I good or bad.
I really don’t know what do
it makes me very sad.
Have I made God angry?
He can’t hear my prayer?
I pray, and pray, and pray, some more
I fear He doesn’t care.
As I grow my faith in God
shows me how to win.
I find I have no doubt
He cleanses all my sins.
When I walk in His Light
He does calm my mind.
The fight I have with sin I’ve won
is gone with passing time.
The beauty of my Father
Is He's here with me.
Now I fear no evil
He has set me free.
As I live my story
passing through this phase.
God stands so faithful
He helps me write each page.
As I finish my life’s story
clearing all the haze.
He lead me from confusion
and straightened out this maze.
If you ever stand in doubt
if He’s here or not.
Just ask me ‘bout my Father
and how my soul He bought.
I find as I am growing
from a child into a man.
Succeeding with the coming of age
God show’s me that I can.
