To work, to love, to play
Is there any time throughout your day
That you will take the time to pray
With everything you do
What is most important to you
I hope that each and every day
It’s that you took the time to pray

You did not take the time to pray
Waiting on His throne of grace
Waiting for you to take your place
Upon your knees as you say
“Lord I’m taking the time to pray”

Hope restored and so has peace
When at the end of the day
You can say, “Lord, I took the time to pray”
“The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” James 5:16 b
