Each of us will Face Discouragement in This Life.
Satan is the world’s greatest discourager. Satan is the greatest enemy any of us have. The ultimate master of discouragement is Satan and he always uses tricks and always tries to take advantage of us when we feel the weakest.
I have sinned and each of you has sinned and God has always been near us to help us. God is always willing to help each of us out of every discouragement bondage situation. All we are required to do is saturate ourselves with Scripture and believe. All answers to all of our fears and problems are already written in Scripture. From the beginning God already knew the problems we will have and instructed that Scripture be written to provide us with all the needed answers. But we must be believers and read and read and read the Scripture and feel absolute confident that the Scripture is true and that we may act to the glory of God.
No human has ever lived a life with out feeling weak and lost at times. Satan always waits in the dark for us to fall apart when a friend forsakes us. Satan moves in for the kill when we are lonely. When we feel confused Satan quickly offers us an evil plan. Satan is a genius at sin creativity. Satan’s flair is so smooth that we are easily deceived. With keen ingenuity Satan always uses an evil scheme that seems harmless on the surface, as he double-crosses us every time.
Discouragement is a blatant attack upon the promises of God in Scripture.
As Christians we must choose to be believers in every promise of God…or we have chosen to believe the lies of Satan. All methods and principles used by Satan to discourage believers are lies.
God created each of us differently, but each of us has some talent that can be used to glorify our Creator. We may be destined to be a truck driver, a writer, a scientist, or a preacher. It’s immaterial as long as we are believers, try to glorify God, and ignore every tricky promise from Satan. Then His blessing and power will be with us.
Each believer has a talent that can be used to glorify our Creator. God’s plan works in mysterious ways and we need to keep an open eye and open ear as God exposes us to that which we can use to glorify Him. Believe in God’s Truths, never in Satan’s lies. Satan wants us to believe we have no talent that is useful to God. To believe such a lie is slap against God’s highest order of creation. If we fail at a try with a talent, so what! Out of failure grows success. Try again.
Believers have it made. Believers have a promise from God. The ultimate promise to Christian believers is from Our Commander-in-Chief Himself. All of our sins were paid for at Calvary. All of our sins have been forgiven.
Encouragement for believers is a promise from Our Lord. Believers can proclaim salvation through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. There fore believers have a responsibility to develop a goal of Christian service to all. In the Scriptures we find all answers.
Pride is an awful word to Jesus. However, to Satan it is the key that opens doors to sin. Eve fell for Satan’s trick when Satan tempted her and said she would become like God if she eat the forbidden fruit. Satan appealed to her pride.
It is absurd to judge others. We all have the same sin nature and none of us is clean. Our hearts are wicked and deceitful for we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Yet, as we sin Jesus values us and stills wants fellowship with us. Remember He loved us enough to die for us. Even as Jesus hung on the cross He prayed, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” What more encouragement can a believer ever want?
Christianity is a relationship with Jesus. With this relationship believers have encouragement. Jesus died for us…to erase our sins. What more encouragement can a believer ever want?
Jesus wants to be our best friend. He wants us to know Him better. He wants a personal walk with us. He wants us to open the door and remove all barriers. What more encouragement can a believer want?
