With all my heart I yearn to surrender myself to God’s will. I want to choose Jesus without questions or reservations. When all my mental inquiries have been folded up and put away – I pray it be soon – let the result of my searching be only one answer, only one response:
Jesus.
My road, with all its twists and turns, starts and stops, must lead to Him. I know it. I feel it. Still, I cannot prevent myself from veering off the path of surrender onto the road of questioning.
What would you have me learn, Lord, from my distractions and detours? At the end of my journey, please let one of my lessons be this: That my doubts and inquiries were the tools through which my belief in You became unshakable.
To believe with all my heart and soul and mind . . . please, Lord, I pray . . . lead me there.
