Lord please help me understand
Why I feel this way
Don’t leave Oh Lord please stay
Change my heart and make me new
Lord I want to be like you
I want to make you smile
Please say you’ll stay with me awhile
I can’t see my way out
And I want to stand and shout
I can’t go it all alone
I’m a shallow empty stone
Lord without you
Yes I know you know it’s true
So walk with me and take my hand
Lord please help me understand
