Topic: Left: Remained, or Departed (11/20/25)
He was a strong, muscular, and hardworking... my dad.
He loved God and read his Bible with us every day.
Took us to church on Sundays and prayer meetings on Wednesdays.
He lived a Godly life and remained faithful to Him.

Father of ten and husband to Irene.
He never took a break unless it was for church or Christmas day.
Crafty mechanic and fixed his own trucks
Productive farmer who grew his own food.

He fed our hungry, thieving neighbors,
Even adopted two abandoned children and sent them to school
As a local boy, son of a sugar cane juicer
He at least knew his dad and respected him.

But, he left us too soon, yes, much too soon!!
At 52, a cardiac event of such tragic dismay
Leaving six children with my mother, forlorn.
Some older siblings were so far away.

Decades later, he’s remembered gloriously by us all.
This man of God sowed strong seeds of faith in adults and children.
His life as a Christian lives on in his children.
So, I thank God for my father… who left us tooooo soon.

This is such a touching story about your father and His faith in God, and how He impressed upon your whole family the importance of going to church and guiding your family in the word.
