Stash your feet in socks and your socks in shoes, and while you’re at it, stash your body in your clothes, too.
Stash some coffee in your cup and sip on it while you stash God’s Word in your heart, which is smart. (Psalm 119:11)
Stash the keys in the ignition as you drive to work. Road rage? Don’t you dare! You have an image to bear. (1 Tim. 4:12)
Safe at work, aren’t you glad for the Holy Spirit? Now it’s time to stash that pen and notebook in your hand. It’s meeting time, let’s hear it! (Gal. 5:22-23)
Stash some cash in your church and some in your savings. Stash an inheritance for your family, too, because that’s what good people do. (Mal. 3:10, Prov. 13:22)
But don’t stash your sins, confess them instead. Indeed, God sees everything. (Ps. 32:5, Prov. 15:3)
Don’t stash riches for yourself because the more stashing, the more disappearing. Rather, stash your treasures in heaven, then you won’t be jeering. (Prov. 23:5, Matt. 6:19)
Don’t stash your good works, instead, display them for all to see. That’ll give your Father in heaven so much glory.
And never ever ever stash your little light. Every day of your life, let it shine, let it shine, let it shine! (Matt. 5:16)
