Ted Bundy was sensitive, charismatic, gifted, and young. So it was easy for Ann Rule to be endeared to his warm personality, especially as a new coworker. Both worked together and all went well except, you’ll know later.

Mind you, Ann was also young and had a background in law enforcement and psychology. She came committed to being of great service to the citizens who cried out for help during the weakest period in their lives. So, she came to the late shift at the Seattle Crisis Center. This nonprofit organization helped persons who had suicidal problems so they could call for help and members from the center would assist, giving them hope to live.

As Ann and Ted worked together to help these different persons nightly, they were satisfied that they were of service. Eventually, Ed became a confidant of Ann.

But news came to the fore that eight women disappeared from across the states of Colorado, Utah, Oregon, Florida, and Washington. The monster raped, kidnapped then murdered these victims. All these atrocities took place within seven months.

Both workers were sad about these events.

So, Ann started to investigate these mass murders. The more she tracked down the monster, the more she became unnerving. Can you imagine working together for a cause of hope and being the same person to go and victimize these people?

Ann had to wrestle with how she could be safe and how she could trust Ted since all evidence pointed to him.; but she had to be brave to do her duties. With her training, she mustered the will and did the right thing.

The evidence of the case pieced together revealed that her coworker, Ted was the monster. He eventually confessed to thirty- six murders.

However, research indicated that he was responsible for hundreds of murders.

His trial was sensational, and he was sentenced to death for murders occurring between 1974 and 1978. In the following year, he was sentenced to death again for the rape and murder of a twelve-year-old girl.

He was given the electric chair.

In my research of this story, I discovered that only the Lord can be trusted totally. People know how to deceive and behave. Proverbs 3: 15 becomes clear and we should let the Holy Spirit guide us in our dealings.
