And nothing is changing,
You can go to God in prayer,
Or declare that life is unfair.
When you’re running from the Word,
And your direction is blurred,
You can get down on your knees,
Or accept the enemy’s pleas.
When all appears futile,
And the thought of another day brutal,
You can hold on to hope,
Or continue only to cope.
When you’re at your end,
And all you do is pretend,
You can find your place in Christ,
Or keep seeking what has enticed.
When giving up seems sane,
And you’re tired of all the pain,
You can rejoice, rejoice, rejoice,
Or turn to your drug of choice,
When you’re all alone,
And want to rationalize and condone,
You can turn to the Truth, which gratifies,
Or go on believing the enemy’s lies.
When God feels far away,
And you find it hard to pray,
You can fellowship with brothers and sisters,
Or seek solace with other resistors.
When nothing you do is right,
And you’re tired of the fight,
You can pick up your sword and shield,
Or go on refusing to be healed.
When agony is what you know,
And instead, you long to grow,
You can read a Proverb or a Psalm,
Or find wrong things with which to calm.
When you’re looking to make a choice,
And you wish to find your voice,
It’s always best to seek the Lord,
For in Him alone is healing and great reward.

The length of the second verse changes, but it stayed in rhythm. I don't know how important it is keeping line length the same. Good job of finding words that rhymed and get the message across.
