In her sublime majesty,
God created and ordained,
The radiant sun,
Much like a ripe orange,
Exuding splendour and mystery,
Gently traverses the cosmos,
As if pulled by a gigantic magnet,
From East to West,
And from sunrise to sunset.
Between sunrise and sunset,
Lies illusive, distant horizons-
Horizons that, with heaven and earth, romance,
Always fondly embracing both,
With passionate love,
Kissing them affectionately and endlessly,
From sun dawn to sundown.
Illusive horizons,
That, with ease, continually
Tantalise German Mercedes-Benzes
And American concords,
Never to be touched,
By precision of science and technology.
Will no one lure you for a while,
To stop that marathon,
That you will never win alone?
Distant Horizons –
Who, in oriental blanket, hides the sun,
And, daily, pulls him with Western magnet.
Occidental bedcover, hiding you completely?
Easterly horizons,
Westerly horizons,
Celestial horizons,
Subterranean horizons,
Mental horizons,
Quantum horizons,
Unless you stop eluding man,
Man to the lab, he will go,
And, only one day, invent horizon-scopes
That will rape you naked.
As she traverses the parabolic sky,
I watched from a hill:
Was there anything so majestic,
So fair, so humbling, so awesome…
Like radiant sunset,
That celestial ball
That fascinates human eyes
Of all except the busy maids,
Who must miss it
Unless they graduate-
To the status of house-wives?
As the radiant sun surrenders
Its majesty into nocturnal prison,
Dusk gradually takes over-
The mantles of power:
Cows comply with summons;
So do the herds boys driving them.
The chicken obey biological laws,
And the owls, and their ilk, roost –
All in obedience to cosmic curfew laws.
With the fall of dusk,
And advent of nocturnal curfew,
The power of silence rules:
As humans take refuge into their shelters;
The bird-kingdom roosts in their nests;
The universe, into deep slumber, plunges;
Leaving only God, the Omnipotent,
To ring the gong for all life to wake up tomorrow.
Ge 1:1-31; Psalms 139:1-24; 2 Pet. 3:5.

As I read, I felt myself in the presence of a talanted wordsmith.
I've greeted many sunrises and sunsets and although never finding your symphony of words - I've heard and thought your music.
Great work. An observer.
PS I had to look up Occidental :)
Blessings~
