Refinements belong to sixty-year-old Eva Densing.
One big problem,
Taste senses boredom.
Yup! In a haste, taste goes a-walling.
Eva Densing traces back, there’s no time to waste.
Taste must return, hook or by crook, to chase.
She gulps espresso martini,
Tastes like brewed coffee with honey.
Oh, what’s she gonna do? Fine dine to a haste.
Eva dresses to designer’s gown to dinner.
To a fine French diner, Taste must win her.
Chef serves escargot,
Cognac shrimp, lobster, and more.
Flavours of finest, but taste’s not prize-winner.
Boredom gets tiring after a while.
The after-taste of all that kerfuffle.
Picks up painting on Renaissance,
The taste of lit’rature, by any chance.
Well, “I’ll be darn! I’ll go to Italy, Sicily Isle.”
Freedom, at last, to taste bewildered.
“To the Isles of Sicily, 'can’t be hindered!”
One big problem,
One fabulous autumn,
“What now! Wine-tasting spree, I’m determined!"
Taste o’ freedom can’t stop in confinements,
Amidst her sixty-years taste of refinements.
Thinking hard with candy bars,
Even with lemon lime bitters.
Sixty and feisty, calming grace compliments.
Meanwhile, Borders are closing.
Flights are cancelling, babies masking.
Vintage alligator shoes,
Tap dancing on marble floors.
No worst fears stunt the fine taste of Eva Densing.
