Topic: FALSE (04/15/21)
This fantastic new medicine will clear all your skin blemishes. You will feel great, and your social life will soar to new levels with new relationships and unbridled excitement. Do not take it if you are allergic to it. (How would I know?) Sore throat, lung congestion, blood clots, hand tremors, memory problems, stroke, or death may occur from taking this medicine. You might die but you will have beautiful skin. Something is wrong here. Why do they have this disclaimer? They have it only because it is a legal requirement. The benefits are highlighted and praised, but the disclaimer falsifies the positive information. The disclaimer gives us information that will influence our decision to try it or not. Is it worth the risk? I think not.

Foods that look like healthy sustenance are not so. The labels on the can show pictures of luscious whole peaches and pairs with the statement: “(This product) makes it easy to get the fruits that you need every day!” Sure, they contain an element of the advertised fruit or its juice but also include a list of thirty-five ingredients that you can’t pronounce. The information promoted is about whole fruits. but the list of unknown elements falsifies the original, positive benefits. The producer of this product hopes that we will not read the label. To do so gives us valuable information that will influence our decision about this product. We just have to know what is true and what is not.

What about our lives in this present Crazy COVID Cage, as I call it? The mandates to wear masks, stay socially distanced, wash hands thirty times a day and stay home do nothing to protect us from this virus. The so-called preventive measures clearly do not work. They are totally false. All the things the government wants us to do are about controlling us and are designed to prepare us for indoctrination into the New World Order.

But take heart, what is false must have its opposite in truth. Jesus is the Truth, and there is nothing false in Him. His Word gives us instruction in what we are to know in case of a plague or pandemic:

“Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge,
Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling.”
Psalm 91:9-11 (NKJV)

That is it, plainly proclaimed in the Bible. Make no mistake, there is no disclaimer on any part of His Word. That means that each of us must decide if we will believe the world’s lies, or if will we believe what the Lord tells us. I have made my decision. Have you?

I am with you on the disclaimers on medicine and food; a world of risk we life in.
I noticed you are in the Advanced group, but in second paragraph, fifth line, no capital letter after full stop.

"But take heart, what is false must have its opposite in truth." Thank you for this sentence, I tend to forget that.

I remember taking a college course about advertising, and it shocked me the many ways companies persuade consumers. Some do use outright lies, while others deliver a more subliminal message. Although, I do disagree with your point about the COVID information (as a nurse, I know the devastation it has caused and have seen it decimate families and friends.) While we do not know everything about it, the warnings, for the most part, are meant for people to do an honest research, look at it from all sides, pray and ask God for wisdom. I think one of the problems is people only research one side of a product or idea. God gave us wisdom and the ability to figure out what he wants us to do. It's nice that the Bible wasn't meant to trick us. There are horrible things in this world, but God will give us strength to overcome. I like that you give many different examples. Don't be afraid to mix up sentences structure and use descriptive language to paint a picture for your reader.

I too hate commercials with those disclaimers that negate all the supposed positive benefits. My suggestion is that you may have two articles here. Take out the COVID portion. I think it's strong to talk about disclaimers and then God's truth and there being no disclaimer on the Bible. If you want to write an article on COVID, have that separate with more supporting information. Good article.
