draw me near
to my Healer
Strange it may sound
it’s more real than life
When I’m unwell
I cry to the Lord
for healing
I don’t rely on doctors
alone to manage sickness
I believe
in the the Divine Healer
to keep me strong
and healthy
even through the golden years
My first thought
goes to the Lord
when I’m sick or ill
I seek His face
and healing grace
Foolhardy it may seem
For years
He’s my great comfort
and precious balm
in sickness or health
Turning to His Word
and promises
I rest my hope
To Him alone
my family I commit
I pray for my wife
and daughters’
speedy recovery
before seeing the doctor
for in God I first confide
Doctors, nurses
and medical staff
are God’s agents
the ultimate healer
of my body soul and mind is Christ
May I bring every illness
and sickness before You
Anoint me and make me whole
Only speak Lord
and I’ll be well
Lay Your healing hand
on others
who need Your loving touch
