be careful
of what you say
a falsely spoken
statement may ruin
a person’s good name
or leave indelible marks
O be careful small fellow
of what you utter
a malicious slander
may simmer
or go viral
round the world unknowingly
,mercilessly, and unrelentingly
Careless words stray
and catch off my guard
They have wings
that travel fast
not easily retrieve
or capture
causing undue harm and pain
My heart
can flow evil thoughts
,murders, odious and malicious words
O Lord guard my heart and mind
especially my words
so that seeds of comfort
they will sow and harvest
Set a trap
on my mouth
lest I sin against You
and others through toxic talks
from an unkempt tongue
May I be quick to listen
and slow to speak
I long to speak
blessings and peace
out of the depths
of a Spirit-filled heart
May my speech and text
deeply touch those who hear
or read
O Lord, may the words
of my mouth
and the meditation
of my heart
in prose, poems and blogs
be acceptable unto You
I pray

The tongue can be a dangerous weapon to hurt and destroy others.
I noticed that a few of the commas were in the front and looked out of place.
