How can it be?
He really wants me!
Have I earned and deserve his love?
He says, “It is not earned; please accept my gift.”
Only you dear Jesus can take my messes away.
Oppose my nemesis, the Evil One’s wicked ways.
Offer up my sins and sorrows I will do.
Once then, how blessed will be my tomorrows too?
Perhaps as I view the path of salvation.
Pour out your most precious blood.
Provide for me with your sacred Eucharist.
Proves how much you did for me.
Each day we begin again—you and me.
Even though I am not worthy, you forever will be.
Every moment of each day you are here.
Encourage me with whispers of hope to draw near.
Here I sit in my prayer chair.
Open my heart for you to fill.
Pebbles of insights slowly drop in.
Ease and comfort confirms you are here.
How joyful I feel with you by my side.
Over life’s ashes, I will arise.
Paralyzed by fear, let me never be.
Energize me Holy Spirit, come speak to me.
Hearing your words, they are soft whispers.
Opine on flashes of scriptures to pursue.
Prized words from the ages do I find.
Eternally jump off every page I discover.
Has there been a better place to be?
Overtly your actions I can see.
Pleasing me with delight and glee.
Eagerly love on me for all of time to be.
