Topic: GREED (avarice, particularly for wealth and things) (01/22/15)
When I look around about me I see that God, the Master of the Universe, has created some wonders that we can only marvel at their existence. He gave us an over abundance of everything He has made not one tree but hundreds of different types from the sage of the deserts to the high towering redwood trees. Some are flowering and others produce fruit of all kinds that vary according to the area of the world we reside.

He gave us scenery that is fantastic, all the beautiful valleys and the mountains reaching into the clouds with rock formations of all colors to delight us. Ever climbed a mountain and looked at all the views it offers. I thank God for the wonderful eyes He gave us to see His creations.

God made hundreds of different animals to fill the earth. Great numbers remain as wild animals in the forest but for man he gave us, cattle, sheep, and swine to supply us a food supply. Then God gave us camels, horses and other animals to provide us transportation.

The vast oceans cover the major part of the earth and our gracious God has filled them with fish of all kinds. He even stocked the lakes for us land lovers that get sea sick, as the Lord has thought of every detail. We find fish of all types and they take different items of fishing tackle to catch the trophy ones, according to the waters we are fishing. The Lord has blessed me over and over again in the 43 years of serving the fishing tackle industry. I give praise to the Lord daily for His protection and the ability to still use my hands in preparing tackle items for delivery as a wagon jobber.

Our Lord even had a bit of humor when He filled the earth with his marvelous creations. A long necked giraffe animal, a long trunk elephant animal, others with long tails or beaks , He filled the oceans with fish some with chainsaw noses, and some not desirable for man's food supply but required to balance the ocean.

Then God made man to worship Him we see in Bible verse: Genesis 1-27" So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created he him, male and female created he them" They were to worship the Lord and serve Him, however, man has rebelled often and still does every day. Today we see our country has now turned away from God and less than 50% of the population believe there is a God that made all the wonderful things in the universe. No one but God could create the marvelous things He has made, so I pray we see our country returning to the God believing nation our forefathers established.

When some leaders don't really believe and teach Genesis 1 as true, it is easy for members to not believe John 3:16.

You may have a missing period in the first paragraph.
