Your heartache overwhelms me,
And tears are freely flowing.
Nonetheless our Lord is nigh
Day and night to hear our cry.
Nothing overwhelms as He
Is holding us in His hand.
Grace He gives both day and night.
His presence comforts our hearts
That cry out in agony.
Day and night He is faithful
And just to forgive our sins.
Yes, cleansing unrighteousness
And restoring our souls.
Never does He forsake us.
Day and night He's always there,
Never absent in distress.
In every season constant,
Guiding us both day and night,
He leads us through the valleys
To pastures with which to bless.
Day and night He's preparing
A place for us who follow,
Yearning to fellowship with the
Alpha and the Omega,
Nevermore oppressed by sin.
Daytime will always shine there;
Night there will not ever be
In the new Heaven and Earth.
Glorious day! We'll sing to
Him who is worthy of praise,
Throughout all eternity.
