A friend is a friend ‘til the end, of course
But Jesus is the best of them, of course
That is, of course if you believe
That He’s life’s true light source

The Bible’s the source that leads our course
It’ll give you answers that God endorsed
For us His Son died, no remorse
That’s a true life friend

Other friends may come and go
and talk your time away
But Jesus is the friend you’ll know
That’ll never lead you astray

A friend is a friend to the end of course
You may have lots of good ones of course
But Jesus is the eternal source
Now listen to this!
He’s the great I AM!

But in the end you’ll have remorse
Please choose the course that I endorse
Choose Jesus as your friend
