I'm seeing smoke at FW of late,
Writers are burning to demostrate,
Talent is blazing and definitely not fizzling,
Faithwriter's writers are sizzling!

Are they getting hotter, or is it just me?
Lately I love every entry I see,
Scores in the Challenge have to be higher,
Faithwriter's writers are simply on fire!

EC's are ranking in level one,
An achievement not often easily done,
Excitement is mounting more every week,
Faithwriter's writers are at a peak!

New members are flaming up faster too,
It took me six months to make level two,
Others are now passing me in a heat,
Faithwriter's writers are hard to beat!

No finer people to get beat out by,
Cyberspace chums fall out of the sky,
Forum friendships ignite every day,
Faithwriter's writers are warm that way!

So many exceptional, well written stories,
Poems describing all of God's glories,
Essays of life painting pictures by letter,
Faithwriter's writers get better and better!

Yes, things are most definitely heating up,
With everyone striving for that first place cup,
Fine works of art their 'pens' are chiseling,
Faithwriter's writers are sizzling!

What a great tribute to us Challengeers! Loved the rhyming and rhythm. You might have missed a beat with the last line. I know why you had fun with this one. I did too!

Oh I love this. You make writing poems look like a breeze. The fact that this did so well even though you mentioned FW and the challenge (which is usually discouraged because the top ten overall are published in an anthology where the reader may not have any knowledge of FW or the challenge) is a true testament to your incredible talent. My back is acting up a tad, but I'm so happy for you I just have to do my Happy Dance!! HAPPY DANCE!!!
