Behold God’s Spirit seeking hearts inclined to Him.
Jehovah sings while moving over seas and lands,
unhindered by the hands of time or might of man.
A widow bends in sorrow with grief’s deep despair.
No words can voice the anguish that she cannot bear.
The Spirit of her Lord comes in and brings release.
The gift of song for her is sobs before the peace.
A father hovers over this his newborn son.
With speechless wonder in his heart, he’s overcome.
The Spirit gifts him with a song of priceless love
that vows to teach his son the ways of God above.
A pastor prays to find the way to reach lost souls.
Frustration builds and chokes the joy this one should know.
The Holy Spirit sings into the pastor’s tears
reminding that the reaper is our God Who hears.
A business leader wrestles with integrity.
There is a way to hide the wrong. No one will see.
The Spirit comes and plants the song conviction sings,
and lifts the leader’s eyes and heart to Godly things.
A man and woman find the love they’ve waited for.
With hearts in boundless hope they vow as spirits soar.
Exchanging rings and future days, they now are one.
The Holy Spirit’s gift to them is endless song.
A young man sways before the choice to take a life.
In anger he rejects the God who calms all strife.
Only moments separate him from his hell.
And then the Spirit sings salvation’s song so well.
A little child greets morning with glad eyes and feet.
Sparkling in the light of day, her heart’s complete.
Laughter is the song the Spirit gives her here,
a song filled with a heavenly hope and angel cheer.
In countless places, countless times, God’s Spirit nears
with songs in days of joy, songs in days of tears.
God’s promise never weakens. He comes to impart
the music of Himself in every searching heart.

Are you sure you didn't peek at my journal? Not that I'm a pastor.
