I am almost speechless at this masterpiece of a poem - trouble, triumph and tragedy of scenes culminating with the conclusion that truly, some things have no answers this side of heaven.

This is one that will linger in my mind a long time – contemplative and powerful!
A POWERFUL poem! My mind halted when the inebriated father tore off the cast. Hurts. I'll let the Holy Spirit comfort this distress. My mind sunk. I was prepared to write GLORY! Not to be.

The relentless grind of poverty - of finances and of attitude - are shown up so clearly here. I feel so angry about the blind stupidity of the father, especially as our son was also born with club feet.
Eyes that see, a heart that comprehends, and the ability to convey your feelings -- you are a gifted writer. Outstanding.

Really excellent way to convey this message. The meter of your poem escaped me a few times, but as I struggle with meter I could be wrong.

Great job with this!

Beautiful message found in your writing...i could feel every feeling experienced throughout.
God will always have doubters in the world and in everyone's families...but it never stops him from delivering the miracles that come by faith in one's hearts through prayer. Some might go it luck, but God is not lucky He is real. The same God that provided miracles to Abraham, Lot, Jacob, and Moses, is still providing miracles to those who believe. A very good poem!
