Topic: Anger (01/24/05)
As red as the fire in the devils eyes,
As deep as the rose,
that covered your lies,
As dark as the storm,
that starts to endour,
lighting the fire,
that burns up the flower.
True meaning of hate ,anger and pain,
replaces the love,
that drove me insane,
more than a rain shower,
from the heavenly skies,
would be needed to put out,
the flames in my eyes,
for the anger is burning,
deap down in my soul,
when revenge is taken,
only then will i,
again feel whole.

This poem makes me go, "hmmm." It does sound angry, but is brutally honest, and exposes what many of us do feel in our hearts. Hopefully you can expand it or write another poem that talks about the healing of an angry heart and the forgiveness that goes along with it.
