The God of all creation.
He oversees my own domain,
And that of every nation.
The vastness of His universe,
I cannot comprehend;
The earth is bound by sea and sky,
A blueness without end.
Before God even formed the world,
He made salvation’s plan:
To send His Son to earth to die
For sins of fallen man.
Omnipotent, Omniscient, He,
Majestic over all,
And yet He takes the time to see
The tiny sparrow’s fall.
He lives outside of time and space,
Unknown infinity,
As Father, Son, and Holy Ghost,
A Sacred Trinity.
His mercy is unmerited,
His love, long suffering,
His faithfulness, without compare,
His goodness, blessings bring.
The Bible He inspired to
Direct in all our ways.
He is the God above all gods
And worthy of our praise.
His kingdom is within the hearts
Of Christians everywhere.
He rules o’er all from heaven above,
Our Lord beside Him there.
And someday I’ll dwell there with Him,
Somewhere beyond the blue.
He’s promised me eternal life,
And all His words are true.
