None of us know how much time we have to do any one thing or to accomplish everything on our list.
The very most vivid example that I can think of is: Don’t wait one minute to accept Jesus Christ as our Savior. We don’t know if we have two minutes.
For thousands of years philosophers have written that we all need a plan in our life and need to plan our lives. This seems to be more prevalent with age.
Time waits for no one, so we should never put off till tomorrow something which can be done today. Opportunity may knock on our door only once and if we fail to open the door in time…guess what…we lose. So why should we procrastinate and take a chance? When we complete our assignment on time, or sooner, it won’t become bigger than it needs to be. Conserving time by not wasting time allows us a better chance to ‘Stop and smell the roses’.
We all know that we are programmed this year
To have one less year left than we had a year ago.

Even if we must use our finger.

Don’t put off till tomorrow what we can do today.
If a job needs doing it is better to do it now.
We can change the world with a dream,
But not by wasting time dreaming.

Pray for guidance to solve our problems today,
Because they only get worse tomorrow.

Stitching a hole in a sweater is part of the solution,
But preventing future holes is more important.

Everything in our lives is based on time, including the length of life. God expects us to have a plan, which includes accomplishing His Will. He gave us an advanced brain to accomplish this.
