Topic: Anniversary (04/11/05)
A rainbow thrown across a sordid sky.

A tree that is renewed in greeness every day.

A heart made new and massaged with the hands of grace.

A smile that grows with each moment of what is to come.

A tear that falls in joyful expectation of a coming King.

These and so much more happen on a daily basis, a momentary occurrence that is taken lightly by most to all of creation, especially Christians. We are so caught up in the "work" of Christianity that we forgot the story that is told to us every day through the creation (Psalm 19), and through the lives of God's creation (us specifically) and that is the reminder that God loves. Most anniversary's traditionally occur every year to chronicle a committment of love passed through the annals of time. But, what about the love of God that has not changed and will not be changed? It is not only told once a year, but, something that should be celebrated every day through the tongue of His beautiful artistry that we have insufficiently deemed in human terms as creation. That is the anniversary that we should be taking in moment by moment, day by day. Then we will also remember why were here. Remember with me, if you dare!!

This reminded me of a little saying I heard one time about our HEAVENLY FATHER having so many "workers" and not enough "lovers!" Thank you for making me stop and think!

Amen ... I wish this toughtful piece was longer. A real pleasure
