Lots of truth here--in oder to appeal to your readers' hearts, consider putting in something more personal: a testimony or personal example. This is very cerebral. And it's generally best to avoid statements that refer to the piece itself ("I am using soul here...")

Good article, but leaves me wanting more -- how did this relate to you? How did you become transformed? Nice way to start a devotional. :)

This was a great reminder that "things that can be seen are temporary, but things that cannot be seen are eternal" (2 Corinthians 4:18). Your last paragraph seemed a little contradictory, especially this sentence : "I am tempted to say think about this but I will not, for I fear procrastination will rob you of time." But you asked your reader a question right before you said this, and the use of questions usually implies that you want an answer, and people have to think of one. I think I know what you meant, but you probably could have phrased this in a way that would have made your point stronger.
I really like this statement and I will be thinking about it: (the soul) "It goes back to God."
As far as not having an authentic case of one dying - my immediate thought was "Lazarus!" and when we read the Word there are several others....
