And there we walked upon the shore.
He left his footprints in the sand,
Billions of grains, and even more.
But when he walked out on the water,
And held his right hand out to me...
I stood alone halted by faith,
For then, I hardly could believe.
I could see the golden shore behind him,
His kingdom beyond the pearly gates.
All the blessings God has In store,
The glorious beauty that awaits...
Soon I began to take the steps,
A single foot at a time.
At first I slowly faltered,
Sinking down in miry slime...
But Jesus came and rescued me,
Holding my hand along the way.
Walking on refreshing waters,
He restores my soul day by day.
Through faith, I received the promise,
In God's kingdom entered in...
Leaving behind this troubled world,
Keeping His peace and joy within.
Isaiah 55
