Now, you may be wondering just how I knew that you were going through something; well, it is my friend, the Holy Spirit of God, who speaks to me. I do have a question for you, have you ever truly given much thought to or about the Holy Spirit?
Jesus promised his disciples that the Holy Spirit would help us to remember his teachings. Now I'm under the impression that the Lord's promise ensures us of the New Testament. Those disciples were eyewitnesses of Jesus' life and teachings, and the Holy Spirit helped them remember without taking away their individual perspectives. For this reason, we, that are believers, can take hold of every word in the Gospels. These words are precisely what Jesus taught and did. The Holy Spirit will help us in the same way that he did with the original disciples. You can trust that every word of the Bible is totally true; the more we get into the Word of God, the deeper into our hearts and minds it is planted.
I wish to be very clear, as you must understand the essence of who the Holy Spirit actually is. He's the third person of the Holy Trinity, equal in essence to God the Father and God the Son. Now the Holy Spirit was present when the world was created (Genesis 1:2).
