Being around this guy has raised my vocabulary; I have just come to know him as late as the Summer of 2019. My bride and I met Mike and Cheryl Feeble in church just under two years ago. They rolled up their sleeves and dove right in at the church. Mike shared that he felt that he could remove his mask with me and sincerely share from the heart. For months now, we have been praying for and with each other. During our prayer time together, Mike shared that he still has a problem defeating internet pornography and was requesting my prayers and confidence.
Unfortunately, eight months ago, Cheryl was diagnosed with
lung cancer. Lord knows that she fought a valiant fight, but she went home to be with the Lord two months ago. Since her passing, Michael has not been himself, and it's as if he's a different person. It saddens me that he walks around like a zombie, a broken-down man without a reason to live.
Mike and Cheryl never had any children, and it appears that both their families have still not forgiven either of them for marrying outside of their race.
I miss the man that Mike was; every fiber of my being tells me that this man needs a total restoration; I'm speaking of his relationship with the Lord our God as well as a refurbishment of his confidence. Mike and Cheryl were excellent people, but now I find myself challenging him on some of his thoughts about my God. We all miss Cheryl, and we are brokenhearted
for the man that Mike is becoming. I am trusting God always to be around when I call.
