Do you ever make New year's resolutions? I try to shy away from them. I have noted that one particular resolution has been renewed for the past 4 years without any resolve. It is one of those things that I have told myself to do for the Lord. The fact that it is to be done for the Lord is the very reason that I should do it. I can not say that the timing was wrong. I just could not put my foot forward for many different reasons. Who to work with? Where to go? I had made it a personal project. So I feared that the project would be hijacked. Which community authorities did I need to get a permit from? So many necessary details.

This year I more or less threw my back pack over the wall. That way I would have no choice but to climb over the wall and go and get it. Everything seemed promising. I put my ideas forward and was advised to write out my plans. It didn't take long before the coronavirus pandemic became a national threat. All my plans went out the window and projects switched in order to fight the pandemic. Has my project taken off? No. However, this time I am more aware of the present. It is said that the present is a present and that tomorrow is a promise.
