That all who live must face
Built together, side by side
Each bound for a different place
The narrow gate stands ready
For desperate seeking souls
Everyone who enters there
are promised streets of gold
The wider gate is tragic
For those rejecting God
Evil hearts on crooked roads
All trapped on barren sod
The road beyond the narrow gate
Will stand the test of time
Those accepting Jesus Christ
Will meet with joy divine
The road beyond the wider gate
Is a perilous place to be
Sinners on the crooked path
Are never once set free
The road beyond the narrow gate
Is paved by God’s right hand
The road beyond the wider gate
Is mired in sinking sand
The road beyond the wider gate
Is an endless walk of pain
And at the end is sadly found
A place where sin remains
The road beyond the narrow gate
Will end at Heaven’s home
A waiting Savior will be there
On His triumphant throne
