This morning in my time alone with my heavenly Father, Proverbs 31:10-31, seemed to jump out off the pages and right into my lap. My bride and I recently celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary. It's truly amazing to me how much we now complement each other. She can finish some of my sentences, and I can almost always predict her movements. Now, if I may be transparent about myself, there have been certain times in my life when I acted like a bear, especially when I was hurting or feeling ill, and I asked for forgiveness.

I treasure my Wife, my pal, and companion more than anyone might ever know. I am so grateful that she excepted my word that I would love, protect, and honor her. We were just twenty and twenty-one years old when we got married.
It was 1969 when we married in Massachusetts and immediately relocated to Southern California the very same week to get back to my job. You see, I was a military man in the United States Air Force during the nineteen sixties, and my flight, in other words, my unit was the XXXth Strategic Missile Squadron, which supported the Minuteman Missile Weapon System (ICBM).

I am so very grateful for my Wife, and I believe that she is one of a kind. My Wife possesses admirable qualities that
many fall in love with it. She seems to be always helping someone, ministering on the phone, or assisting by picking up or dropping off another.

We raised our children in the Lord. We educated them in a private school setting for a few years until the classrooms started growing to sizes that paralleled the Public School System. After prayer and soul searching, we finally ended up Home Schooling. I was the Principal, and my Wife was their teacher from the mid-eighties through the early to mid-nineties. Needless to say that our three children grew up to be delightful and remarkable representatives of society. Our children check in with either my bride or myself almost daily, asking how we are doing and if we need anything as they live in another state. My wife and I tried to do the right thing all of our lives, we believe that " what we do good or bad our children will do in excess." This belief also holds true for our grandchildren as well as our great-grandchildren, now one may ask if I'm Thankful absolutely I am. That's all for now.
