Topic: CALENDAR (10/20/16)
The brain. Such a profound organ. I mean, who can say, with an understanding of this fascinating structure, that there is no God. Yet, with all it’s capable of, I have rendered it clueless. Very probably through my own neglect but this memory failure happens at the most inopportune times and leaves a pathway of devastation in its wake. Forgotten appointments, dates or children. Broken tools lacking bit numbers or contact of fixers. And lost big picture. Yes. Better food, more sleep and crucially, better thoughts could help heal and increase my capacity to remember. And for sure, age impacts. But for now, so I can function with a working memory and mauver my family from day to day, club to lesson, friend to shop, I need a crutch, a prosthesis, a BuJo.

Oh I love my bullet journal. This book is a fixture to my body. Beside my family, I have an affection for this diary that is disturbing. But it works. Any date, code or expectation can be found within its pages. Repeating commitments, one off meet ups, habit tracking, gift lists, computer codes, contacts, birthdates, study outlines, projects, routines, cleaning schedules, menus, finance plans, dreams and daily to do lists…. it’s all there. In a bit of a jumble but I’m all over it so often, I can get what I need real fast. My day has a guide, some boundaries, and reminding what and why I do things, so all goes smoother and freer. I can turn to the calendar and see big picture, what choices I have made and what adjustments are best for my life. Wow. Just like I use my Bible. Although His Words find real freedom; no prosthetic there.

Thank you for your submission! I can see you have laid out the many frustrations of trying to remember everything, hence, a journal is an important tool. You may want to check on a few misspelled words and some omissions. Good job!

You have a delightful, yet subtle sense of humor. I'd love to see you expand on it and go into greater depth. I have a feeling if so, you could change my smile to a chuckle. I liked your message at the end. It's quite profound.

The best thing about this is your authentic voice; I feel as if I know you a little bit after having read this.

However, I'd have liked a better idea of what a bullet journal is, along with some anecdotes of how yours is making your life so much better. You had lots of words to spare, so a few real-life examples would have given you even more of an opportunity to show your readers what you meant.
