I see dark clouds in the sky,
A mighty storm might be brewing.
I am all-alone with hungry mouths to feed,
But I still enjoy nature’s beauty around me-
For I know my Father cares for me.
I hear scary noises from the city,
I know that angry men are fighting.
I am glad I am not a human full of greed,
Whose heart is never satisfied they say-
And their faith in God is not like mine.
I feel safe even in this cruel world,
And I do not worry of whatever is coming
For I trust the one who meets my every need.
Because He taught me to sing come what may-
I know my life is secure in His mighty hands.
I neither care about my food nor safety,
He who clothes the lilies made me too!
I have committed my babies and me to Him
I know that we are always safe in His care.
Oh people, made in God’s own image,
Don’t you see and hear me singing?
If a frail creature like me can trust Him
Why don’t you leave your worry and care-
Surrender to Him fully to lead you all your lives?
